I am always on the lookout for easy recipes to make for after school snacks for myself and my kids.  This frozen yogurt bark recipe is great for the whole family and is healthy while also satisfying your sweet tooth.

It’s a great alternative to ice cream on a hot summer day and add some sprinkles and your kids will think you are giving them a special frozen treat!

It doesn’t take a lot of time to whip together this quick snack and it is super easy to customize and add your favorite toppings!

Ingredients

  • Vanilla greek yogurt
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh Blueberries
  • White chocolate chips
  • Optional: Festive sprinkles
Ingredients set out on the counter in bowls. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, greek yogurt, white chocolate chips and star sprinkles.

Instructions for Making Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark

Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours or until frozen.

When your yogurt  mixture is frozen take it out of the freezer and either break with your hands or use a sharp knife to cut.  It may need to sit at room temperature for a minute or two before you can cut it.  Don’t let it sit for too long though because it will begin to melt!

Store the leftover yogurt bark in the freezer in an airtight container.

Variations

I enjoy using vanilla yogurt in this recipe, because the added sweetness and flavor makes it feel more like a treat.  You could always use plain greek yogurt sweetened with a little maple syrup or not sweetened at all if that’s what you prefer.  Flavored yogurt would also make a great base for this recipe!

The best part about this recipe is there are so many different toppings you could add to make it your own.  Here are a few ideas that would work well:

  • granola (this is a great topping for a bit of crunch!)
  • different fruits including kiwi slices, blackberries, raspberries, etc.
  • coconut flakes
  • pistachios
  • chocolate syrup
  • chia seeds
  • chopped pecans
  • dark chocolate chips
