In a large bowl whisk together all of the ingredients.
If desired, you can sift the mixture into another bowl to remove any clumps and make a finer hot chocolate powder. You could also use a food processor to create a fine powder if desired.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Add 3 tbsp to 8 oz of hot water and enjoy!
Notes
I highly recommend using dutch processed cocoa powder, it has a rich flavor and not as much acidity as unsweetened cocoa powder. I also recommend trying to find whole milk powder for this recipe. Non-fat milk powder will also work, but it may lose some of the creaminess we love.
