3 Ingredient Hot Cocoa Dip

Whip up a batch of this 3 ingredient hot cocoa dip for a delicious and easy no bake dessert for your next Christmas party!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces whipped topping thawed
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup hot cocoa mix three 1 oz packages
  • Optional Toppings: Mini marshmallows crushed candy canes, sprinkles
  • Serve with: Graham crackers vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, apples or animal crackers

Instructions
 

  • Whip the marshmallow fluff and whipped topping together with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined.
  • Add the hot chocolate packets and mix on medium speed until creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve immediately or keep in refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with graham crackers.

Notes

  • If the hot chocolate tastes gritty continue mixing until dissolved. Letting it rest for 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator also helps dissolve the hot cocoa and makes it creamy.
  • Use flavored hot cocoa mix packets for fun flavor variations.  You could also add a sprinkle of cinnamon in with the hot cocoa packets. 
  • Add in a dash of peppermint extract or vanilla extract for some extra flavor 
  • Substitute half of the whipped topping for 4 oz cream cheese at room temperature to make an even creamier dip with a cheesecake flavor.  
  • Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or a few crushed-up candy canes on top for a little color and a simple festive touch.
