1
teaspoon
baking powder
¼
teaspoon
salt
1
tablespoon
ground cinnamon
1

Instructions
Grease a 9x9 baking dish
In a large mixing bowl whisk the eggs
Add in maple syrup, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and vanilla and mix until smooth
Melt the butter and add it into the mixing bowl along with the milk
Add the oats and mix until combined
Dice the fresh apples and then fold into the mixture
Put the oat mixture into the 9X9 pan and smooth flat
Cover & store overnight in the refrigerator
The next morning preheat the oven to 350° F
Take out oatmeal bake and bake for 40 minutes or until set
Add syrup or brown sugar to top when serving
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
If you don’t have time to let the oatmeal sit overnight you can bake it right away, however we prefer letting the oats soak overnight
You can substitute the maple syrup for agave or honey, however that may change the flavor profile a bit
You can easily double the recipe and make in a 9×13 pan
This recipe has no added sugar, if you prefer your oatmeal on the sweeter side I would add a ½ cup of sugar to the recipe
