Pumpkin Spice Playdough Recipe
An easy pumpkin spiced playdough recipe that smells like fall and provides hours of sensory play for toddlers and preschoolers.
Supplies Needed
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- a few drops orange food coloring
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan and stir until combined and smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and continue stirring. The mixture will begin to thicken and turn into a dough.
- Once the dough begins to form a ball remove it from the heat.
- Knead the playdough on a clean surface until it becomes soft and smooth.
- Your pumpkin pie playdough is ready for play!
If it is too sticky add a little flour to the counter until it is easy to handle or stick it back in the pan for a few more seconds
Notes
If you overcook your playdough and it is dry add a little more water to the mixture.
