Favorite toppingsheath pieces, mini chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, M&Ms, white chocolate chips
Instructions
Lay out a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper onto your baking sheet (if we are feeding a crowd we will use a 9x13 pan but if it is just our family we like to use a half sheet pan)
Slice apples thinly with a sharp knife and lay the sliced apples out onto your baking sheet
Melt your caramel sauce and drizzle the hot caramel over the apples
While the caramel is still warm top the apples with your favorite toppings (we like to create a few different sections on our pan with different toppings in each part)
Allow the caramel to cool
Eat your delicious sheet pan caramel apples!
Notes
These are best when eaten right after they are made.
If you would like to store leftovers you could cover with plastic wrap or put in an air tight container and put in your fridge.
If you put a little lemon juice on the apples it will help slow the browning of the apples if you store them overnight.
Be creative with toppings- our favorites are M&Ms, heath pieces and chocolate chips.
