We love making suncatchers to decorate for different seasons and this cross suncatcher is a great homemade Easter decoration for kids to make. It is an easy Easter craft for toddlers and preschoolers (with help) and elementary aged kids can create their own suncatcher independently.

When the sun shines through the different colors in the cross suncatcher it creates a beautiful stained glass effect and I love seeing them hung up all around our house and know you will too!

While you are making your cross suncatcher craft it is a great opportunity to spend time talking with your kids about the meaning of Easter. I highly suggest you include this Easter story snack mix which is another great way to teach about the Easter story and doubles as a fun snack!
