When the autumn season rolls in my kids can’t resist picking up (or stomping on) every leaf they see. I made these printable fall leaves flashcards & coloring sheet as a hands on way to explore, play games and learn more about the different types of leaves we were finding. From coloring to matching to guessing games these cards and the printable coloring sheet make fall activities with kids extra fun, while slipping in a bit of learning too.

We love getting outside as much as we can during the fall days and these cards have been so fun to bring along as we go on nature walks. I love that these cards combine learning, creativity and nature play together! There is nothing better than hands on learning and these leaf printables are great tools to help encourage that.ย
If you are doing a leaf lesson or unit study this leaf chomatography science experiment and these mason jar leaf lanterns are so fun too!
Don’t forget to add in a sweet fall book (this book is one of our favorite fall books for kids). If you are looking to learn further, the USDA also has some great information on trees and some fun facts for kids.ย
