Our church Awana program is coming to an end for the year and I wanted to give little gifts to my preschoolers I have been with all year. My goal was to avoid food and trinkets due to allergies and the sanity of parents adding more “treasures” to their child’s toy bin. My kids love playing with chalk on sunny days, so this naturally felt like a great fit! They were so much fun to put together and I’m really excited to give them to the kids to celebrate a great year.

This gift is incredibly budget friendly. The chalk was 5$ for 48 different colors, bags were 1$ (I stock up around holidays when they are on sale) and ribbon I had in my craft stash, leading to a total of 6$ spent on this gift for 15 kids. That’s literally 40 centers per kid for a thoughtful end of the year gift.
