We had so much fun making these banana yogurt pops. My 4 year old was able to make them from start to finish and clean up was so simple. He was so proud to show his brothers the special after school treat he made for them when they got home!

The best part is not only the simple recipe, but that this is a healthy snack that I’m okay with my kids eating all summer long!

Tips & Variations

  • You can change up the toppings if you would like to forego sprinkles. Chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or drizzled melted chocolate would be yummy!
  • You can use any kind of yogurt you would like. We had vanilla yogurt on hand and it worked great. But you could use plain yogurt, greek yogurt, or even full-fat yogurt. If you need some extra sweetness you can stir in agave nectar or maple syrup.
  • If you aren’t a fan of yogurt these peanut butter covered banana popsicles would be a great alternative!
  • If you don’t have parchment paper on hand you can also use wax paper.
  • I prefer using ripe bananas for some extra sweetness, also it a great way to use up bananas that are too ripe to convince my kids to eat!

Storage

You can store your homemade popsicles in a freezer bag or airtight container in the freezer. They will keep for 3-4 weeks.
