Words in this puzzle are found in both horizontal and vertical positions. There are no diagonal or backwards words in this puzzle. I would say the difficulty level is easy and it is perfect for younger kids.

This is a fun educational Valentine’s day activity to do with your kids. It is a great way to help with word recognition for early readers & spelling skills for older kids. I love how my kids feel such a sense of accomplishment when they have found all of the words! You can make it harder for older kids by creating a time limit or competition between two teams.
