Christmas Lights Handprint Craft | Printable Template
This Christmas lights handprint craft is a fun, simple activity for the holiday season. This easy Christmas craft makes a great gift for loved ones and is perfect for preschoolers and early elementary aged kids.
Christmas crafts are one of my favorite things to do with my kids. There is something about doing a craft with snow outside and a good cup of hot chocolate with cut out whipped cream shapes to make it extra sweet.
There are so many fun projects to choose from including salt dough handprint ornaments and this gingerbread man felt ornament. However, this craft is so simple, only requiring the printable template (included below), paint and a paintbrush.
Teachers, this craft makes a great Christmas gift for your student’s family member or loved one. I know that when I’m going through all of my child’s “treasures” that come home with them, crafts with my child’s cute little handprint always land in our keepsake pile.
If you are looking for a way to keep things a bit more simple you can skip the paint and use a black marker to outline the child’s hand on the template.
The child can then use markers, crayons, glitter, or other crafty supplies to put their personal touch on this craft. If you are working with young children who have a hard time having their whole hand painted you could have them make fingerprint Christmas lights instead.
